LANGUAGE AND COMPOSITION - Cedar Crest College - TEL Education (Fall 2024)

This course provides an introduction to college-level writing and covers the basics of composition including types of essays, how to analyze essay writing, and how to prewrite and edit essays. The course also includes a description and understanding of rhetoric, argumentation, persuasion, and the rhetorical situation as it applies to past and current writing. Students are required to write five essays of different genres throughout the course. They will submit drafts for feedback, then they will revise and resubmit their essays.
