With an emphasis on the empowering, creative art of persuasion, this course teaches the fundamentals of college-level critical reading, writing, and research as students develop their writing voices. Focusing on audience, purpose, and context, students will develop writing projects through multiple stages of the research and drafting process while refining proficiency with conventions of standard written English.
